The gun has darts with enough chemical in them to drop an elephant. Dr. Williams slowly opens the door that leads from the house to the garage and is surprised at what he sees. The Wild Man is awake and has blood dried up on his face and in his hair from the deer he was eating the night before. The Wild Man has a terrible smell coming from him that was not noticed before. It is what you would expect from someone who has not had a shower in ten or twenty years. His teeth are surprisingly clean for a person who lives in the woods. The Wild Man looks at the Dr. with a dazed look in his eyes. The Dr. is not seeing what he expected. He thought he would see a killer with a cold stare. His eyes do not reflect what a killer Wolves would look like. If the Wild Man is truly a Shape Shifter, then everything about him must change when he shifts. He thought he would see a powerful being that he would have trouble getting close to. Instead the Dr. is looking at a Man that looks weathered, but in good shape. Actually he looks very healthy for his age. The Dr. knows that the stories go back at least two decades. He tries to estimate the age of the Wild Man. He is unsure but thinks he could be between 50 and 60 years old. He sees a man that if cleaned up could pass for your average local person. Maybe the Dr. was under estimating the Wild Man. Maybe the Wild Man was out smarting the Dr. trying to get him close to the cage so he could hurt or kill him? The Dr. kept his distance from the cage. He could see that the Wild Man was able to reach through the cage and grab a metal can from the tool bench close by. This is what he heard clanking when he woke up. Thank god that the Dr. had cleaned up the garage a few weeks ago! There had been some tools there and the Wild Man could have possibly chosen the right tool and broken the lock setting him free into the night. Dr. Williams thought it was time and decided to try to speak to the Wild Man.

Dr. Williams: I am Dr. Williams. I have brought you to my home. You are in my garage. Can you hear me?

The Wild Man does not answer and just looks at the Dr. and scrunches up his face in anger.

Dr. Williams wonders if the Wild Man can speak or if he has been out in the woods so long that he stopped using his speech to talk. He sees the Wild Man is irritated but he must try to communicate. Dr. Williams has heard the story of the Cave in the woods. He has heard that this Cave is possibly where the Wild Man got his Shape Shifting powers.
